Neighbor + GOOD Magazine celebrate NEIGHBORDAY

On Saturday, April 27, 2013, a few of your Neighbors gathered for Neighborday, a celebration founded by GOOD Magazine of what happens when the cell phones turn off and the sense of community and spirit of a neighborhood is reignited.

Neighbor’s Neighborday festivities centered around the time-honored tradition and hallowed grounds of morning coffee by transforming our little yellow bungalow on Lincoln into a full-fledged coffee house.

Fresh brew from Intelligentsia was given to all comers in a specially made custom Neighborday mug, and a wide array of breakfast pastries and delicacies were provided by Neighbor employees.

In addition to our own homespun cafe, Neighbor partnered with seven local Venice coffee shops to provide drink specials as their own way to get in on the Neighborday fun.

On Thursday, April 4 Neighbor opened it’s doors to family, friends and colleagues to show off their new Venice digs, right on the burgeoning and rapidly changing Lincoln Blvd to have a few drinks and enjoy an authentic Mexican taco cart.

Located in a converted early 20th Century lemon-yellow bungalow, Neighbor is looking forward to becoming an integral part of this already colorful neighborhood (Have you seen those awesome hand-painted signs next-door at Allan’s Aquarium?).

We are excited to begin this new chapter in Neighbor history, and stay tuned for an update (and equally amazing party) when we open our permanent San Francisco space in the coming months.
